Tools needed:
Power Drill
Pencil
Philips screw driver
Socket wrench
Tape Measure
7/32" drill bit for stud
3/8" drill bit for concrete
A quality level ( don't go to cheap on the level you use)

At least one wall stud, two prefered (but I installed to just one wall stud), or a concrete wall.

Step 1 - Attach the mounting plate and extender supports to TV back.

Installation of the wall mount itself does not take very long. It takes about 15-30 minutes to attach the back plate directly to your TV set. The back plate is pictured in the product photo, but if you have a large TV like mine (60 inches), then you have to attach some extender supports to the small back plate pictured that creates basically a large X pattern. Then the extender braces attached perfectly to my TV mounting holes.
